Stakker Palletizer / Depalletizer
Introducing the Stakker

The Stakker was specifically developed to be cost effective for the smaller production line using proven, uncomplicated design princples and reliable low cost mechanical assemblies coupled with simple PLCs.

The Trackplate - the heart of the Stakker.

Stakker is different!

highly complex mechanical systems that require precise timing and adjustment to be effective.

Gantry Type Palletizers are largre devices servicing multiple lines and pallet positions. They are designed for high-volume, multiple SKU applications and require highly complex computer programming and precision high tech mechnical assemblies to be effective. They are also very expensive.

Articulating Arm Robotic Palletizers use sophisticated computer programs and expensive servomotors to provide precision at high speeds. Articulating Arm Robotic Palletizers are used for high volume applications with limited SKU mix.

Stakker uses a small footprint and simple mechanical systems and PLCs
(Programming Logic Controllers, i.e. simpe computers) based on standard
engineering principles to palletize at the end of low to medium speed
production lines. The Stakker is priced for small business but can also be used in
larger environments where production is distributed over several production lines.
Placing a Stakker at the end of each production line is usually less expensive
than using costly conveyors to transport the cases to a centralized high cost,
high-speed palletizer. Bigger is not always better! Stakker is right for you if you
palletize 200 pounds per minute with case weights under 50 pounds and
have infrequent pallet pattern changeovers (more than three per day would start to
erode efficiency).

How do I know if Stakker is right for my company?

Simply call us! We can review your application and tell you if Stakker is right for you. If another type of palletizer is better for you, we’ll tell you that too. Our goal is to help you improve your productivity through simple automation. Our customer service philosophy is the same as our design philosophy: Simple, Direct, and Honest. We’ll let you know what’s right for you - not what is best for us.

If Stakker is right for you we can make it easy to integrate into your palletizing operation. We offer: Leasing, Application Engineering, Automation Interface Assistance, Installation, Safety Guarding, and Training. Everything you need to have Stakker improve your productivity and reduce your costs.
Palletizers are generally grouped into three types: Layer Formers, Gantry Type and Articulated Arm Robots.

Layer Form Palletizers are typically big, and bulky. These systems are designed for medium to high-speed packaging lines and use a complicated system of conveyors, pushers, plates, and elevators to form layers that are pushed onto a pallet. They are
The trackplate operates like a railroad switchyard and determines the pallet pattern. Need to change patterns? Simply change the Trackplate. The number of pallet patterns that can be used is infinite. Trackplate’s simple technology allows the flexibility to palletize and depalletize, with interlocking or column stacking and to do two pallets at once.

The End Effector uses another proven well accepted design priciple. Vacuum generators pick up and place product from above. It has a suction capacity over 250 pounds and is capable of lifting boxes, bags, and covered totes. The Control Panel is simple and very user friendly. On/Off, Start, Stop and Pause
are all that are needed for routine operations. All operations are monitored and displayed on a digital read out. The computer can be overridden manually, should you want to interrupt the automatic cycle.
