America's easy to use and affordable palletizing machine.

Designed to pick and place cases the Z.Zag Palletizer uses a vacuum system to automatically pick up a specific case and place it on a pallet. The Z.Zag is designed for end of line applications where production is distributed over several production lines. Placing an Z.Zag at the end of each production line is less expensive than using costly conveyors to transport cases to a centralized high cost, high-speed palletizer.

MACHINE DETAILS

This SCARA type robot operates in 4 degrees of freedom: Three linear movements along the X, Y and Z axis and a fourth rotational movement around the Z axis. Movements in the X and Y axis are actuated by two servo electric cylinders, one for each axis. The position of each case is calculated automatically according to the desired pattern and the dimensions of the case, the Z.Zag palletizer will locate all cases on one pallet and upon completion will begin filling the next as the first pallet is replaced. The End Effecter uses vacuum generators to pick up and place the product from above. It has a suction capacity over 250 pounds and is capable of lifting boxes, bags and covered totes.

Bigger is not always better! Z.Zag is right for you if you palletize 200 pounds per minute with case weights up to 40 pounds and have infrequent pallet pattern changeovers.
